Welcome to Rhodes’ Workshop
Since our opening in 2016 our services have expanded to include several important aspects of maintaining and upgrading yachts. We also continue to offer rental of tools, workspace, and storage units.
We are conveniently situated between Nereus Boatyard and the Rhodes New Marina. We are also just a short ride away from Mandraki Harbour.
On the surrounding streets you will find paint shops, chandleries, stainless steel workers, printers and much more.
teak decks
We specialize in teak decks, teak repairs, and working with teak. Teak is becoming rare and expensive so we have developed techniques for restoration work. When new teak is needed we work with the largest teak distributor in southern Europe located in Athens.
spray painting
We can spray on-site, in one of our shrink wrap tents, or in our own spray booth. We have several compressors and the best spray guns.
grp work
We make bespoke grp moulds and work with grp directly on boats.
carpentry
We perform a wide variety of carpentry builds and repairs in teak, oak, mahogany, iroko, plywood and more.
shrink wrapping
Our unique self supporting (small footprint) shrink wrap scaffolding makes for a very stable and streamlined tent able to withstand winds up to 9 beaufort.
varnishing
We perform a variety of specialised varnishing jobs using regular varnish as well as epoxy depending on the job and surface.
bow thrusters
We specialise in the new line of Vetus BOWB Pro thrusters with proportional motors, but we can install any brand bow thruster.
dustless blasting
Using our performance machines from torbo (the inventors of wet abrasive / dustless blasting) we can clean any boat hull in a matter of hours instead of weeks.
Anti-fouling, paints, varnishes, rust, and epoxy/polyester fillers are all removed effortlessly, while the sensitive surfaces underneath are left free of grit or grease and ready for coating
or bonding.
The process creates so little dust that many operators work with only eye and ear protection, and it can even be used indoors. Surrounding areas are left free of dust and
contaminants, reducing the need for cover sheets and time consuming clean-up.
rigging
We perform certain rigging jobs under license from Meltemi Yachting in Athens.
